What is an RFP?

Pooki's Mahi uses a standard high-tech RFP process to evaluate suppliers and vendors.  Pooki's Mahi's RFP process does not constitute a long term PO or contract to do business with the supplier or vendor. Pooki's Mahi is interested in long term bidirectional partnerships.

Pooki's Mahi has a very strict and highly selective process. 

  1. Less than 5% of the target suppliers or vendors make it to the RFP Pilot Launch stage. 
  2. No more than 2 suppliers or vendors are selected for a long term partnership. 
  3. Partners who do make pass the Pilot Launch stage is subjected to Pooki's Mahi's Ground Rules and policies for a long term partnership.

A request for proposal (RFP) is a solicitation, often made through a bidding process, by an agency or company interested in procurement of a commodity, service or valuable asset, to potential suppliers to submit business proposals.
